A Model United Nations – or simply MUN – is an United Nations academic simulation for students conducted entirely in English. The Pelotas Model United Nations dates back from 2013. It started as an initiative from the public Federal University of Pelotas’ International Relations course and has since then exponentially grown as a project to now accommodate college students and political enthusiasts from all the region.
2017’s edition
In the 2016’s edition, the project expanded and now also offers a simulation for high school students from the city so as to incentivize and nurture their interest in International Relations, the United Nations as well as to inspire dialogue and negotiation skills.
