Tatiana da Silva Duarte da UFRGS \u00e9 apoiado pelo Minist\u00e9rio do Desenvolvimento Agr\u00e1rio e Agricultura Familiar (MDA) por meio de um Termo de Execu\u00e7\u00e3o Descentralizada (TED) assinado com a UFPel. A pesquisa foi inclu\u00edda no Projeto Piloto \u201cDesenvolvimento de Prot\u00f3tipos de M\u00e1quinas, Equipamentos e Implementos Adaptados \u00e0 Realidade da Agricultura Familiar\u201d do MDA, que re\u00fane cinco projetos \u201cque visam desenvolver e\/ou aperfei\u00e7oar m\u00e1quinas e equipamentos fundamentais para a agricultura familiar, com vistas a aumentar a produtividade e renda, bem como reduzir a penosidade do trabalho\u201d: Colheitadeira de arroz de pequeno porte; Rolo faca para Sistema de Plantio Direto em Hortali\u00e7as \u2013 SPDH (UFPel); Colheitadeira el\u00e9trica de a\u00e7a\u00ed; Colheitadeira de mandioca, associada tamb\u00e9m com os equipamentos de encanteiramento e plantio de maniva; Semeadora e adubadora de 2 linhas para motocultivador. Ser\u00e3o desenvolvidos, constru\u00eddos e validados cinco m\u00e1quinas que ser\u00e3o destinadas a organiza\u00e7\u00f5es da agricultura familiar e institui\u00e7\u00f5es de ensino e pesquisa: UFPel; Cooperativa Mista Origem Camponesa; Cooperativa dos Trabalhadores Assentados da Regi\u00e3o de Porto Alegre Ltda. \u2013 Cootap (institui\u00e7\u00e3o parceira da UFRGS); EPAGRI-CEDUP Caetano Costa; e Movimento dos Pequenos Agricultores \u2013 MPA.<br \/>\nA agricultura familiar \u00e9 um pilar essencial da produ\u00e7\u00e3o de alimentos no Brasil, respons\u00e1vel por 70% do consumo interno de itens b\u00e1sicos como mandioca, feij\u00e3o, leite e hortali\u00e7as. No entanto, esse setor enfrenta desafios cr\u00edticos, como o \u00eaxodo rural, o envelhecimento da popula\u00e7\u00e3o no campo e a falta de tecnologias adaptadas \u00e0 sua realidade. O Sistema de Plantio Direto de Hortali\u00e7as (SPDH) surge como uma solu\u00e7\u00e3o sustent\u00e1vel, reduzindo o uso de agrot\u00f3xicos e melhorando a conserva\u00e7\u00e3o do solo, mas sua ado\u00e7\u00e3o em larga escala esbarra na car\u00eancia de m\u00e1quinas e equipamentos adequados. Atualmente, os agricultores dependem de adapta\u00e7\u00f5es artesanais para realizar opera\u00e7\u00f5es como acamamento de adubos verdes, corte de fitomassa e abertura de sulcos, o que limita a efici\u00eancia e aumenta a carga de trabalho. Essas condi\u00e7\u00f5es podem colaborar para a degrada\u00e7\u00e3o do solo e para a redu\u00e7\u00e3o da produtividade. O <\/span><span class=\"a_GcMg font-feature-liga-off font-feature-clig-off font-feature-calt-off text-decoration-none text-strikethrough-none\">Sistema de Plantio Direto de Hortali\u00e7as (SPDH)<\/span><span class=\"a_GcMg font-feature-liga-off font-feature-clig-off font-feature-calt-off text-decoration-none text-strikethrough-none\"> apresenta-se como uma estrat\u00e9gia de transi\u00e7\u00e3o desse modelo, promovendo a <\/span><span class=\"a_GcMg font-feature-liga-off font-feature-clig-off font-feature-calt-off text-decoration-none text-strikethrough-none\">sa\u00fade das plantas<\/span> <span class=\"a_GcMg font-feature-liga-off font-feature-clig-off font-feature-calt-off text-decoration-none text-strikethrough-none\">e consequentemente de todo<\/span> <span class=\"a_GcMg font-feature-liga-off font-feature-clig-off font-feature-calt-off text-decoration-none text-strikethrough-none\">agroecossistema<\/span><span class=\"a_GcMg font-feature-liga-off font-feature-clig-off font-feature-calt-off text-decoration-none text-strikethrough-none\">. Desenvolvido de forma participativa entre agricultores, extensionistas e pesquisadores, o SPDH constitui uma <\/span><span class=\"a_GcMg font-feature-liga-off font-feature-clig-off font-feature-calt-off text-decoration-none text-strikethrough-none\">ferramenta de transi\u00e7\u00e3o agroecol\u00f3gica.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"cvGsUA direction-ltr align-justify para-style-body\"><strong><span class=\"a_GcMg font-feature-liga-off font-feature-clig-off font-feature-calt-off text-decoration-none text-strikethrough-none\">Seus pilares s\u00e3o: revolvimento zero ou m\u00ednimo do solo (restrito \u00e0 linha de plantio), cobertura permanente do solo com palhada (m\u00ednimo de 10 t\/ha de mat\u00e9ria seca ao ano) e rota\u00e7\u00e3o de culturas com plantas de servi\u00e7o.<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n<p class=\"cvGsUA direction-ltr align-justify para-style-body\"><strong><span class=\"a_GcMg font-feature-liga-off font-feature-clig-off font-feature-calt-off text-decoration-none text-strikethrough-none\">Benef\u00edcios do SPDH<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><span class=\"a_GcMg font-feature-liga-off font-feature-clig-off font-feature-calt-off text-decoration-none text-strikethrough-none\">Redu\u00e7\u00e3o da perda de solo em at\u00e9 70%.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span class=\"a_GcMg font-feature-liga-off font-feature-clig-off font-feature-calt-off text-decoration-none text-strikethrough-none\">Redu\u00e7\u00e3o da perda de \u00e1gua em at\u00e9 90%.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span class=\"a_GcMg font-feature-liga-off font-feature-clig-off font-feature-calt-off text-decoration-none text-strikethrough-none\">Aumento da mat\u00e9ria org\u00e2nica no solo.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span class=\"a_GcMg font-feature-liga-off font-feature-clig-off font-feature-calt-off text-decoration-none text-strikethrough-none\">Ciclagem de nutrientes.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span class=\"a_GcMg font-feature-liga-off font-feature-clig-off font-feature-calt-off text-decoration-none text-strikethrough-none\">Melhora da fertilidade natural.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span class=\"a_GcMg font-feature-liga-off font-feature-clig-off font-feature-calt-off text-decoration-none text-strikethrough-none\">Regula\u00e7\u00e3o t\u00e9rmica do solo.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span class=\"a_GcMg font-feature-liga-off font-feature-clig-off font-feature-calt-off text-decoration-none text-strikethrough-none\">Menor depend\u00eancia de insumos externos.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p class=\"cvGsUA direction-ltr align-justify para-style-body\"><span class=\"a_GcMg font-feature-liga-off font-feature-clig-off font-feature-calt-off text-decoration-none text-strikethrough-none\">Focado na agricultura familiar e camponesa, o SPDH visa sistemas mais resilientes e aut\u00f4nomos, alinhando-se \u00e0 crescente demanda por alimentos saud\u00e1veis.
