Mais especificamente, como as l\u00ednguas que sabemos podem afetar o modo como nos lembramos das coisas ou em que prestamos aten\u00e7\u00e3o.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">A Hip\u00f3tese baseia-se em duas ideias principais:<\/span><\/p>\n<ul style=\"text-align: justify;\">\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Diversidade Lingu\u00edstica: as l\u00ednguas diferem entre si, tanto no n\u00edvel estrutural quanto no conceitual;<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Relatividade Lingu\u00edstica: as l\u00ednguas podem influenciar o modo como pensamos;<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Wilhelm von Humboldt via as l\u00ednguas como sistemas de interpreta\u00e7\u00e3o da realidade. Isso n\u00e3o quer dizer que diferentes l\u00ednguas representem diferentes mundos, mas que a estrutura e o vocabul\u00e1rio de uma l\u00edngua podem fazer seus falantes notarem e expressarem certos aspectos da realidade com mais detalhe ou frequ\u00eancia do que os falantes de outra l\u00edngua.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">A teoria \u00e9 especialmente relevante nos estudos do Multilinguismo porque pode ajudar a compreender fen\u00f4menos como a transfer\u00eancia conceitual \u2013 quando o modo de pensar em uma l\u00edngua afeta como nos expressamos em outra, e a investigar como aprendemos novas maneiras de entender e expressar conceitos como cor, tempo, espa\u00e7o, movimento, g\u00eanero, dentre outros.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>Refer\u00eancias<br \/>\n<\/strong><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">BASSETTI, Benedetta; COOK, Vivian. <\/span><b>Language and Billingual Cognition.<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> Londres: Psychology Press, 2010.<br \/>\n<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">PAVLENKO, Aneta. <\/span><b>The Bilingual Mind<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">: and what it tells us about language and thought.
