{"id":3009,"date":"2026-05-27T10:54:09","date_gmt":"2026-05-27T13:54:09","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/wp.ufpel.edu.br\/labgrima\/?page_id=3009"},"modified":"2026-05-27T10:54:09","modified_gmt":"2026-05-27T13:54:09","slug":"research-projects","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/wp.ufpel.edu.br\/labgrima\/research-projects\/","title":{"rendered":"Research Projects"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>Antisystemic\u00a0 Movements in the Current World System<\/strong><\/p>\n<p id=\"tw-target-text\" class=\"tw-data-text tw-ta tw-text-small\" dir=\"ltr\" data-placeholder=\"Tradu\u00e7\u00e3o\"><span lang=\"en\">The research project has as objective to analyze the international antisystemic reality from the discovery of the decline of the US hegemony (WALLERSTEIN, 1994; ARRIGHI, 1996) in the scope of geopolitics, economy and culture.\u00a0<\/span><span lang=\"en\">It will examine the role of countries such as China and Russia or organizations such as the BRICS, which have military and\/or economic capacity to maintain their national interests against the relative (economic and cultural) hostilities of the US, as well as regional movements. <\/span><span lang=\"en\">The line counts on the theoretical analytical basis of Immanuel Wallerstein (World System), Giovanni Arrighi (Systemic Cycles of Accumulation), Fernand Braudel (Longue Dur\u00e9e) and Antonio Gramsci (Hegemony).<\/span><\/p>\n<p><strong><em>Cybersecurity as a scenario of contemporary geopolitical disputes: dimensions, perspectives and analyzes<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Objective : Identify and analyze the current geopolitical dynamics and the disputes between the great powers.
