The Hospital LabCom is a study group, belonging to the Behavioral Studies Laboratory, to promote and develop social and behavioural policies in the field of Hospital Clinical Architecture, comprising an inclusive and innovative reading of public health policies. It seeks to provide the humanization of hospital environments, the flexibility of its spaces, operational and functional agility, and the promotion of quality of life for its users, making the hospital environment places that promote life and dignity for patients. Through meetings and research projects, LabCom Hospitalar focuses on analyzing and reflecting on the planning of spaces and buildings for health, discussing the teaching of Clinical Hospital Architecture in the curricula of undergraduate courses in Architecture and Urbanism, and perspectives and future scenarios for the area in the Post-Pandemia COVID-19. It is intended to establish launches of ideas, projects, and proposals, improve teaching practices through participatory methodologies, and develop specific behavioural tools.
