Convidamos todas e todos para a aula inaugural do Programa de P\u00f3s-Gradua\u00e7\u00e3o em Sociologia, com a professora Raquel Weiss (UFRGS). A Professora ministrar\u00e1 a aula intitulada \u201cPresente no passado: a heran\u00e7a cl\u00e1ssica a partir da Am\u00e9rica-Latina\u201d.<\/p>\n

A aula trata da ideia dos cl\u00e1ssicos enquanto ancestrais, como uma forma de renovar a rela\u00e7\u00e3o com o passado da sociologia, articulando a heran\u00e7a europeia ao lado de outras presen\u00e7as importantes para pensar uma sociologia latino-americana. Tal esfor\u00e7o oferece um caminho para articular g\u00eanero e ra\u00e7a no n\u00facleo da teoria social, com consequ\u00eancias para a concep\u00e7\u00e3o de sociologia e seus modos de operar.<\/p>\n
