The Brazilian Federal Police is investigating the cloning of cards used by cyber thieves. The irregularities can add up to R$ 1.8 million in resources that would be used in scientific research in the country.
According to CAPES, the values are already being reversed by the card’s holders, without prejudice to the Project. 188 CAPES PRINT credit cards were affected.
