Atuando na vanguarda desta tem\u00e1tica, o <strong>GRAEM (Grupo de Restaura\u00e7\u00e3o Ambiental em Ecossistemas Minerados)<\/strong> celebra a entrega de resultados de 2 importantes trabalhos de pesquisa, vinculados ao <a href=\"https:\/\/wp.ufpel.edu.br\/ppgmacsa\/\"><strong>PPGMACSA<\/strong><\/a>, que trazem importantes contribui\u00e7\u00f5es sobre din\u00e2mica de recupera\u00e7\u00e3o estrutural, biol\u00f3gica e qu\u00edmica dos minesoils (solos constru\u00eddos) em Candiota.<\/p>\n<h3>1. Restaura\u00e7\u00e3o ecol\u00f3gica ap\u00f3s a recomposi\u00e7\u00e3o topogr\u00e1fica da \u00e1rea minerada<\/h3>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\" data-path-to-node=\"3\">A din\u00e2mica dos atributos f\u00edsicos, qu\u00edmicos e biol\u00f3gicos ao longo de 20 anos de experimento foi abordada na tese de doutorado de Maria Bertaso de Garcia Fernandez, orientada pela Profa. Dra. Lizete Stumpf. Esta tese apresenta um dos estudos de monitoramento temporal mais abrangentes j\u00e1 realizados na regi\u00e3o.<\/p>\n<h4 data-path-to-node=\"4\">Principais Avan\u00e7os e Resultados<\/h4>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\" data-path-to-node=\"5\"><b data-path-to-node=\"5\" data-index-in-node=\"0\">Din\u00e2mica da restaura\u00e7\u00e3o estrutural dos solos minerados:<\/b> O estudo demonstra que a compacta\u00e7\u00e3o do <i data-path-to-node=\"5\" data-index-in-node=\"96\">topsoil<\/i> \u00e9 uma das principais barreiras \u00e0 restaura\u00e7\u00e3o ecol\u00f3gica, pois persiste por quase uma d\u00e9cada na camada de 0-10 cm. Contudo, as ra\u00edzes das plantas (gram\u00edneas perenes) s\u00e3o capazes de romper essa camada e reorganiz\u00e1-la entre 15 e 20 anos de restaura\u00e7\u00e3o, formando agregados biog\u00eanicos e fisicog\u00eanicos. Nesse sentido, foi proposta uma metodologia de avalia\u00e7\u00e3o da qualidade f\u00edsica de solos minerados baseada na propor\u00e7\u00e3o de agregados biog\u00eanicos, descompressivos e compressivos.<\/p>\n<p data-path-to-node=\"5\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone wp-image-544 size-large\" src=\"https:\/\/wp.ufpel.edu.br\/graem\/files\/2026\/04\/Capturar-1024x609.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"952\" height=\"566\" srcset=\"https:\/\/wp.ufpel.edu.br\/graem\/files\/2026\/04\/Capturar-1024x609.png 1024w, https:\/\/wp.ufpel.edu.br\/graem\/files\/2026\/04\/Capturar-400x238.png 400w, https:\/\/wp.ufpel.edu.br\/graem\/files\/2026\/04\/Capturar-768x457.png 768w, https:\/\/wp.ufpel.edu.br\/graem\/files\/2026\/04\/Capturar-952x566.png 952w, https:\/\/wp.ufpel.edu.br\/graem\/files\/2026\/04\/Capturar.png 1317w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 952px) 100vw, 952px\" \/><\/p>\n<p data-path-to-node=\"6\"><b data-path-to-node=\"6\" data-index-in-node=\"0\">Papel das gram\u00edneas perenes:<\/b> Entre as esp\u00e9cies testadas (<i data-path-to-node=\"6\" data-index-in-node=\"57\">Hemarthria altissima<\/i>, <i data-path-to-node=\"6\" data-index-in-node=\"79\">Cynodon dactylon<\/i> e <i data-path-to-node=\"6\" data-index-in-node=\"98\">Urochloa brizantha<\/i>), a <i data-path-to-node=\"6\" data-index-in-node=\"121\">Urochloa brizantha<\/i> destacou-se por manter um desempenho superior na melhoria dos atributos estruturais e no aumento do carbono org\u00e2nico.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\" data-path-to-node=\"7\"><b data-path-to-node=\"7\" data-index-in-node=\"0\">Estabiliza\u00e7\u00e3o do carbono e retorno da biologia do solo:<\/b> Ap\u00f3s 20 anos de restaura\u00e7\u00e3o, o carbono org\u00e2nico total atingiu valores pr\u00f3ximos aos do solo original, com incrementos importantes ap\u00f3s uma d\u00e9cada de processo. A atividade biol\u00f3gica ainda parece incipiente, especialmente no que diz respeito \u00e0 fauna do solo. Dra. <\/span><span data-path-to-node=\"12,2\"><span class=\"citation-30\">Jakeline Rosa de Oliveira, focou no uso de enzimas e fra\u00e7\u00f5es de carbono l\u00e1bil como indicadores sens\u00edveis da evolu\u00e7\u00e3o da restaura\u00e7\u00e3o em uma cronossequ\u00eancia de tr\u00eas d\u00e9cadas<\/span><\/span><span data-path-to-node=\"12,4\">.<\/span><\/p>\n<div class=\"source-inline-chip-container ng-star-inserted\"><\/div>\n<h4 data-path-to-node=\"13\">Principais Avan\u00e7os e Resultados<\/h4>\n<ul data-path-to-node=\"14\">\n<li>\n<p id=\"p-rc_6b299a90c6d0dbe4-30\" style=\"text-align: justify;\" data-path-to-node=\"14,0,1\"><span data-path-to-node=\"14,0,1,0\"><b data-path-to-node=\"14,0,1,0\" data-index-in-node=\"0\"><span class=\"citation-29\">Enzimas como Term\u00f4metros da Restaura\u00e7\u00e3o:<\/span><\/b><span class=\"citation-29\"> O estudo utilizou as enzimas <\/span><span class=\"citation-29\">\u03b2-glicosidase<\/span><span class=\"citation-29\"> (ligada \u00e0 degrada\u00e7\u00e3o da celulose e ciclo do C) e <\/span><span class=\"citation-29\">arilsulfatase<\/span><span class=\"citation-29\"> (essencial para a ciclagem do enxofre) como bioindicadores<\/span><\/span>.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\">\n<p id=\"p-rc_6b299a90c6d0dbe4-30\" data-path-to-node=\"14,0,1\"><span data-path-to-node=\"14,1,1,0\"><b data-path-to-node=\"14,1,1,0\" data-index-in-node=\"0\"><span class=\"citation-28\">Sensibilidade ao Manejo:<\/span><\/b><span class=\"citation-28\"> As atividades enzim\u00e1ticas mostraram-se altamente sens\u00edveis a mudan\u00e7as de pH e satura\u00e7\u00e3o por Al<\/span><\/span><span data-path-to-node=\"14,1,1,2\">.<\/span><\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\">\n<p id=\"p-rc_6b299a90c6d0dbe4-30\" data-path-to-node=\"14,0,1\"><b data-path-to-node=\"14,2,0\" data-index-in-node=\"0\">O Papel da Calagem:<\/b> Observou-se que \u00e1reas com 22 anos de restaura\u00e7\u00e3o que receberam manejo agron\u00f4mico adequado (como a disposi\u00e7\u00e3o de calc\u00e1rio) apresentaram rela\u00e7\u00f5es positivas com a atividade enzim\u00e1tica e o teor de POxC (carbono l\u00e1bil).<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p id=\"p-rc_6b299a90c6d0dbe4-30\" data-path-to-node=\"14,0,1\"><span data-path-to-node=\"14,3,1,0\"><b data-path-to-node=\"14,3,1,0\" data-index-in-node=\"0\"><span class=\"citation-27\">Carbono Oxid\u00e1vel (POxC):<\/span><\/b><span class=\"citation-27\"> O POxC foi validado como um indicador de sa\u00fade do solo pr\u00e1tico, de baixo custo e sens\u00edvel a altera\u00e7\u00f5es ambientais em minesoils<\/span><\/span><span data-path-to-node=\"14,3,1,2\">.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h4 data-path-to-node=\"15\">Conclus\u00f5es e Expectativas<\/h4>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\" data-path-to-node=\"16\">O trabalho conclui que a implementa\u00e7\u00e3o de pr\u00e1ticas de manejo, especialmente a calagem, \u00e9 crucial para evitar que a acidez e a satura\u00e7\u00e3o por alum\u00ednio barrem o progresso da sa\u00fade do solo.
