Master’s Degree:

Diego Domingos Goulart
Currently, he is a graduate student, doing a Master’s degree in Education (FaE/UFPel) and a Specialization in Verbal-Visual Languages ​​and their Technologies (IFSul – Pelotas), as well as graduating in Pedagogy (Federal University of Pelotas – UFPel). He is a Specialist in Education (UFPel/2018) and has a Degree in Languages (Portuguese) from UFPel (2015), in addition to having full training in the “Curso Normal” with a qualification in the Early Years and Early Childhood Education by the ‘Instituto Estadual de Educação Assis Brasil’ (2010). He was a Teacher of the Early Years and Special Education in the public school system (Prefeitura de Canguçu/2018), as well as a Teacher Trainer in Distance Education in the ‘Pro-Employee Program‘ (IFSul/Campus Pelotas/2018). From 2012 to 2017 he was a volunteer teacher of the Portuguese Language in the extension Project “Desafio pré-vestibular (UFPel)“, with an emphasis on textual genres and an argumentative dissertation focused on ENEM. He was a scholarship holder of Syntax and Grammatical Studies, between 2013 and 2015, at the “Center of Letters and Communication (CLC/UFPel)“.

Letícia Piske Soares
She has a specialization in English Teaching and English and North American Literature from the ‘Instituto Claretiano de Batatais’ (2013), graduated in Portuguese and English Languages and Literature from the ‘Universidade Católica de Pelotas’ (2012), and Bachelor Degree in Business Administration from the College ‘Atlântico Sul Anhanguera Educacional de Pelotas’ (2007). She started the activities of the scholarship junior researcher at ‘Universidade Católica de Pelotas’ in 2009, as a scholarship holder FAPERGS and CNPq. Her area of interest in the research is the acquisition of sounds from the English language by Brazilians.

Graduated in Portuguese/English Languages from the ‘Catholic University of Pelotas (UCPel)’ (2015). Has seven years of experience as an English teacher. Currently is looking to improve herself even more in the teaching area.

Marina Cabreira Rocha de Moraes
Graduated in Languages from the ‘Federal University of Pelotas’ (2010), has a Specialization in Applied Linguistics from the ‘Federal University of Pelotas’ (2014) and a Specialization in Inclusive Education from the ‘Leonardo da Vinci University Center’ (2020). She is currently a teacher of the Portuguese Language and Early Years in the public school system of Piratini/RS.

Simone Silveira da Silva
Graduated in Pedagogy from the ‘Federal University of Pelotas (UFPel)’ (2018). Acts voluntarily in research activities with the “Grupo de Estudos sobre Aquisição da Linguagem Escrita (GEALE)“, developing works with an emphasis on the acquisition of written language and literacy. Develops voluntary activity with the extension project: “Understanding oneself, the other and the society in which we live: for a work of integrity, values, experiences and educational assistance in the care of children at the ‘Nossa Senhora da Conceição Institute’“.

Danieli Dias da Silva
Doctorate student at the Graduate Program in Education at the ‘Federal University of Pelotas (UFPel)’. Has a Master’s Degree in Education and Technology from the ‘Instituto Federal Sul-Rio-Grandense’ (2018). Is a Specialist in Language and Literature Teaching Methodologies from the ‘Federal University of Pampa’ (2014). Has a degree in Pedagogy from the ‘Federal University of Pampa – Campus Jaguarão’ (2013). Is an Early Years teacher in Capão do Leão/RS. Is interested in the area of language acquisition, phonological awareness, literacy processes, and teacher training.

Lissa Pachalski
Master in Languages from the ‘Federal University of Pelotas (UFPel)’, in the research line Acquisition, Variation, and Teaching. Has a Degree in Pedagogy from UFPel. Was a Scientific Initiation scholarship holder (BIC/CAPES, 2014-2016; PIBIC/CNPq, 2016-2017) in the “Grupo de Estudos sobre Aquisição da Linguagem Escrita (GEALE/CNPq/PPGE/UFPel)“. Currently, continues to develop research activities with GEALE, with emphasis on the following topics: writing acquisition; language acquisition; phonology and spelling; the spelling of complex syllables in initial writing, and literacy. She also works voluntarily as a pedagogue in the “Programa de Desenvolvimento Comunitário Vida Plena“, where she coordinates projects related to literacy for children in a context of social vulnerability.

Has a Degree in Languages – Portuguese and French from the ‘Federal University of Pelotas (UFPel)’ (2016) and a Master’s degree in Languages from the ‘Federal University of Pelotas’ (2019). She has experience in the area of Linguistics, especially in Linguistic Theory and Analysis.

Tamires Pereira Duarte Goulart
Is a Doctorate student in the Graduate Program in Education at the ‘Federal University of Pelotas (UFPel)’. Is a Master in Applied Linguistics from the ‘Catholic University of Pelotas (UCPel)’ (2015). Has a degree in Languages – Portuguese/English from UCPel (2013). Normalista with a Specialization in Initial Grades and Early Childhood Education. Currently, she works as a teacher of basic education in Canguçu and is a UAB tutor of the Undergraduate Course in Spanish at UFPel. Is interested in the area of language acquisition, especially in the acquisition of phonology and morphology of spoken and written languages, and in interdisciplinary research in the area of education, which includes literacy and the acquisition of the writing system.
