7\u00ba Festival Internacional de Videodan\u00e7a do RS \u2013 FIVRS 2026\u00a0<\/b><\/span><\/p>\n https:\/\/wp.ufpel.edu.br\/fivrs\/<\/a> Submissions until June 12, 2026<\/b><\/span><\/p>\n This call for proposals aims to select videodance \u2013 in its broad spectrum of audiovisual coverage \u2013 for the 7th International Videodance Festival of RS \u2013 FIVRS 2026, an event held by the Postgraduate Program Master in Arts (PPGArtes) and Dance Course, from the Federal University of Pelotas (UFPel), and by the Ecarta Foundation.<\/span><\/p>\n CONDITIONS TO PARTICIPATE\u00a0<\/b><\/p>\n Free registration;<\/b><\/p>\n Over <\/span>18 years old<\/b>, of any nationality;<\/span><\/p>\n Each participant will be able to register<\/span> ONLY ONE<\/b> videodance;<\/span><\/p>\n Videodances performed in groups or by collectives must be registered by a <\/span>single person<\/b>, who will be the responsible for the registration;<\/span><\/p>\n Productions completed from <\/span>2024<\/b>;\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n Productions that are <\/span>considered harmful to human rights<\/b> will be disqualified in advance;<\/span><\/p>\n Each proponent is <\/span>responsible for the rights<\/b> regarding the soundtrack and the images of the submitted video dances;<\/span><\/p>\n There will be no prizes<\/b>:<\/span><\/p>\n The submission act <\/span>authorizes<\/b> the use of videodance for the purpose of disclosure of the FIVRS<\/span><\/p>\n The submission act <\/span>authorizes<\/b> the videodance to become part of the FIVRS video library;<\/span><\/p>\n The act of submission <\/span>authorizes<\/b> the videodance to be shown in FIVRS exhibition, in Brazil and abroad, for cultural, artistic and educational purposes, and for non-profit purposes;<\/span><\/p>\n VIDEODANCE CHARACTERISTICS\u00a0<\/b><\/p>\n \u00a0<\/span>Free theme<\/b>;<\/span><\/p>\n The videos must be short – <\/span>maximum duration of 10 (ten) minutes<\/b>, including credits;<\/span><\/p>\n Assistive features<\/b> – audio description, subtitles, sign language – not required but will be appreciated;<\/span><\/p>\n Presentation<\/b> in any of the currently used standard extensions (AVI, MOV, WMV, MP4, etc), with a minimum resolution of 720p (HD) \u2013 suggested ideal 1920x1980p or at least 1280x720p.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n Submission via a <\/span>link that allows the file to be downloaded.<\/b><\/p>\n SELECTION<\/b><\/p>\n The selection will be carried out by an <\/span>invited international committee<\/b>;<\/span><\/p>\n The list of selected videodances will be <\/span>released on July 01<\/b>, 2026, on the institutional pages of FIVRS, PPGArtes UFPel and ECARTA, as well as on their social networks<\/span><\/p>\n SUBMISSIONS<\/b><\/p>\n The submissions must be done <\/span>until June 12, 2026<\/b>, through google <\/span>form:\u00a0<\/span>https:\/\/forms.gle\/eN1XMGVmFZBayu3L7<\/span><\/a>\u00a0<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n
