Submissions extension until july 15<\/span>, 2025<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n

This call for proposals aims to select videodance \u2013 in its broad spectrum of audiovisual coverage \u2013 for the 5th International Videodance Festival of RS \u2013 FIVRS 2025, an event held by the Postgraduate Program Master in Arts (PPGArtes) and Dance Course, from the Federal University of Pelotas (UFPel), and by the Ecarta Foundation.<\/p>\n

CONDITIONS TO PARTICIPATE<\/strong>
\n\u25cf Free registration<\/strong>;
\n\u25cf Over 18 years old<\/strong>, of any nationality;
\n\u25cf Each participant will be able to register ONLY ONE<\/strong> videodance;
\n\u25cf Videodances performed in groups or by collectives must be registered by a single person<\/strong>, who will be the responsible for the registration;
\n\u25cf Productions completed from 2023<\/strong>;
\n\u25cf Productions that are considered harmful to human rights<\/strong> will be disqualified in advance;
\n\u25cfEach proponent is responsible for the rights<\/strong> regarding the soundtrack and the images of the submitted video dances;
\n\u25cf There will be no prizes<\/strong>:
\n\u25cfThe submission act authorizes<\/strong> the use of videodance for the purpose of disclosure
\nof the FIVRS
\n\u25cf The submission act authorizes<\/strong> the videodance to become part of the FIVRS video library;
\n\u25cfThe act of submission authorizes<\/strong> the videodance to be shown in FIVRS exhibition, in Brazil and abroad, for cultural, artistic and educational purposes, and for non-profit purposes;<\/p>\n

VIDEO DANCE CHARACTERISTICS<\/strong>
\n\u25cf Free theme<\/strong>;
\n\u25cf The videos must be short – maximum duration of 10 (ten) minutes<\/strong>, including credits;
\n\u25cf Assistive features<\/strong> – audio description, subtitles, sign language – not required but will be appreciated;
\n\u25cf Presentation<\/strong> in any of the currently used standard extensions (AVI, MOV, WMV, MP4, etc), with a minimum resolution of 720p (HD) \u2013 suggested ideal 1920x1980p or at least 1280x720p.
\n\u25cf Submission via a link that allows the file to be downloaded<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

SELECTION<\/strong>
\n\u25cfThe selection of works will be carried out by an invited international committee<\/strong>;
\n\u25cfThe list of selected videodances will be released on July 30<\/strong>, 2025, on the institutional pages of FIVRS, PPGArtes UFPel and ECARTA, as well as on their social networks.<\/p>\n
