Esta \u00e9 uma desvantagem pela falta de embasamento te\u00f3rico, mas vem acompanhada de maior liberdade no seu tratamento e abordagem te\u00f3rica e pr\u00e1tica. A tarefa da curadoria em videodan\u00e7a tem consequ\u00eancias na percep\u00e7\u00e3o do p\u00fablico sobre essas produ\u00e7\u00f5es, assim como seu profissionalismo e rigor t\u00eam implica\u00e7\u00f5es no reconhecimento dessas pr\u00e1ticas em v\u00eddeo, que em muitos casos s\u00e3o uma forma de express\u00e3o de coletivos art\u00edsticos e sociais minorit\u00e1rios.
