Abstract

In the 1960s many studies have been made to use a computer in healthcare, but in the beginning, the developed systems were considered “computer diagnosis”, and not an auxiliary systems. This paradigm changed in the 1980s to computer-aided diagnosis (CAD) and the new computer on health era was established. In the last two decades, significant progress has been made in CAD and many medical areas were impacted. In this presentation, I will speak about the evolution of CAD and perspectives.
