O Simp\u00f3sio <\/span>COMO PROJETAR CIDADES SAUD\u00c1VEIS EM UM MUNDO DE DESIGUALDADES<\/b>, est\u00e1 sendo promovido pela primeira vez na cidade de Pelotas\/Rio Grande do Sul\/Brasil, entre os dias 8, 9 e 10 de abril de 2019, no Centro de P\u00f3s-Gradua\u00e7\u00e3o e Pesquisas em Ci\u00eancias Humanas, Sociais, Sociais Aplicadas, Artes e Linguagem (CEHUS – <\/span>https:\/\/wp.ufpel.edu.br\/cehus\/<\/span><\/a>). Organizado pelo Laborat\u00f3rio de Estudos Comportamentais (LabCom – <\/span>https:\/\/www.labcom.space\/<\/span><\/a>), Programa de P\u00f3s-gradua\u00e7\u00e3o em Arquitetura e Urbanismo (PROGRAU – <\/span>http:\/\/prograu.ufpel.edu.br\/<\/span><\/a>), Faculdade de Arquitetura e Urbanismo (FAUrb) da Universidade Federal de Pelotas (UFPel – <\/span>http:\/\/portal.ufpel.edu.br\/<\/span><\/a>).<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

A partir da pesquisa internacional \u201c<\/span>Projetando Lugares com Idosos: Rumo \u00e0s Comunidades Amigas do Envelhecimento\u201d <\/span>(<\/span>http:\/\/placeage.org<\/span><\/a>), financiada<\/span> pelo Fundo Newton e ESRC em parceria internacional da Universidade Heriot-Watt em Edimburgo, no Reino Unido, e pela Universidade Federal de Pelotas, em Pelotas, no Brasil, entre 2016-2019, reconhecemos <\/span>que simplesmente mudar a forma constru\u00edda n\u00e3o \u00e9 suficiente para criar um ambiente mais inclusivo, pois os lugares s\u00e3o mais do que espa\u00e7os f\u00edsicos. Ambientes vi\u00e1veis \u200b\u200bs\u00e3o articulados atrav\u00e9s de um forte sentido de lugar, definido como os v\u00ednculos sociais, psicol\u00f3gicos e emocionais que as pessoas t\u00eam com seu ambiente. <\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

O evento tem apoio do Internacional Association People Environment Studies (IAPS – <\/span>https:\/\/iaps-association.org\/<\/span><\/a>) e Newton Fund (<\/span>http:\/\/www.newtonfund.ac.uk\/<\/span><\/a>). O IAPS \u00e9 uma associa\u00e7\u00e3o multidisciplinar que integra pesquisadores e profissionais com interesse no campo do ambiente-comportamento, possuindo car\u00e1ter colaborativo e de discuss\u00e3o disciplinar. Foi oficialmente fundado em 1981, ainda que no princ\u00edpio tenha se estabelecido com confer\u00eancias de sucesso no territ\u00f3rio europeu, atualmente possui reconhecimento internacional. A Newton Fund <\/span>\u00e9 uma iniciativa do governo brit\u00e2nico que visa promover o desenvolvimento social e econ\u00f4mico dos pa\u00edses parceiros, por meio de pesquisa, ci\u00eancia e da tecnologia.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Ser\u00e3o aceitos artigos para apresenta\u00e7\u00e3o oral e publica\u00e7\u00e3o em anais nas seguintes sess\u00f5es tem\u00e1ticas: <\/span>1. Desafios da Habita\u00e7\u00e3o; 2. Mem\u00f3ria, Identidade e Sentido de Lugar; 3. Desenho Universal e Acessibilidade; 4. <\/span>Sa\u00fade, Bem-estar e Meio Ambiente e;<\/span> 5. <\/span>Participa\u00e7\u00e3o Social, Inclus\u00e3o Social e Pol\u00edticas P\u00fablicas.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<\/td>\n

The Symposium <\/span>HOW TO DESIGN HEALTHY CITIES IN A WORLD OF INEQUALITIES\u00a0<\/b><\/span>is being promoted for the first time in the city of Pelotas \/ Rio Grande do Sul \/ Brazil, between April 8, 9 and 10, 2019, at the Graduate and Research in Humanities, Social Sciences, Applied Social Sciences, Arts and Language (CEHUS – https:\/\/wp.ufpel.edu.br\/cehus\/). Organized by the Laboratory of Behavioral Studies (LabCom – https:\/\/www.labcom.space\/), Postgraduate Program in Architecture and Urbanism (PROGRAU – http:\/\/prograu.ufpel.edu.br\/), Faculty of Architecture and Urbanism (FAUrb) of the Federal University of Pelotas (UFPel – http:\/\/portal.ufpel.edu.br\/). <\/span><\/p>\n

From the international survey “Designing Places with the Elderly: Towards Aging Communities” (http:\/\/placeage.org), funded by the Newton Fund and ESRC in an international partnership of Heriot-Watt University in Edinburgh, UK, and by the Federal University of Pelotas in Pelotas, Brazil, between 2016-2019, we recognize that simply changing the built form is not enough to create a more inclusive environment, since places are more than physical spaces. Viable environments are articulated through a strong sense of place, defined as the social, psychological and emotional bonds that people have with their environment. <\/span><\/p>\n

The event is supported by the International Association for Environment Studies (IAPS – https:\/\/iaps-association.org\/) and Newton Fund (http:\/\/www.newtonfund.ac.uk\/). The IAPS is a multidisciplinary association that integrates researchers and professionals with interest in the field of environment-behavior, having a collaborative character and disciplinary discussion. It was officially founded in 1981, although in the beginning it has established itself with successful conferences in the European territory, currently has international recognition. The Newton Fund is an initiative of the British government aimed at promoting the social and economic development of partner countries through research, science and technology.<\/span><\/p>\n

Papers will be accepted for oral presentation and publication in annals in the following thematic sessions: 1. Housing Challenges; 2. Memory, Identity and Sense of Place; 3. Universal Design and Accessibility; 4. Health, Welfare and Environment and; 5. Social Participation, Social Inclusion and Public Policies.<\/span><\/p>\n<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<\/tbody>\n<\/table>\n
