In October, the city of Laramie, Wyoming (USA), held the “2018 High Plains Nutrition and Managing Round table”, an event dealing with the optimizing of herd productivity. In addition to the round table, the event program offered an award\u00a0 for the graduate students presenting\u00a0 research works related to nutrition and management of beef cattle. The student Claudia Demarco, advised by Professor C\u00e1ssio Brauner, from the Graduate Program in Animal Science and member of the Research and Extension Center in Livestock at UFPel, won third place. Cl\u00e1udia is a sandwich PhD program at the University of Wyoming.
