Essa temperatura \u00e9 obtida pela convers\u00e3o da emissividade emitida pelas nuvens pela Lei de Planck. Quanto menor a temperatura significa que h\u00e1 nuvens mais profundas que podem gerar tempestades (&lt;-40\u02daC). Tonalidades amarela e vermelha representam um risco potencial de tempestades e\/ou chuva forte. Este canal \u00e9 sens\u00edvel tanto a umidade pr\u00f3xima a superf\u00edcie quanto a tempestades. Chuvas devido ao intenso transporte de umidade do oceano ou das lagoas s\u00e3o observadas com temperaturas mais altas e podem ser confundidas com c\u00e9u nublado. Para mais informa\u00e7\u00f5es contacte o meteorologista.<\/span><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><b>O sat\u00e9lite GOES 16<\/b><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">O sat\u00e9lite GOES 16 \u00e9 um sat\u00e9lite geoestacion\u00e1rio (acompanha o movimento da Terra) de \u00faltima gera\u00e7\u00e3o lan\u00e7ado em novembro de 2016 pela parceria entre NOAA e NASA dos EUA. Na fase experimental ficou posicionado na longitude de 89,3\u02da W sobre a linha do Equador. Ao final de 2017 foi deslocado para <\/span><b>75,2\u02daW<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">, ainda na linha do Equador, \u00a0e considerado operacional no dia 18 de dezembro de 2017. Esta posi\u00e7\u00e3o \u00e9 poss\u00edvel monitorar fen\u00f4menos meteorol\u00f3gicos em todas as Am\u00e9ricas do Sul, Central e do Norte. Para n\u00f3s no Brasil, o imageamento \u00e9 feito a cada 15 minutos em 16 diferentes canais. Os dados s\u00e3o obtidos do servidor AWS da Amazon e processados pelo CPMET.<\/span><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Obs. O hor\u00e1rio da imagem est\u00e1 em hor\u00e1rio universal (UTC). O hor\u00e1rio de Bras\u00edlia \u00e9 UTC &#8211; 3, ou seja, 12 UTC corresponde 9 h locais.
