{"id":8986,"date":"2020-12-09T14:53:46","date_gmt":"2020-12-09T17:53:46","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/wp.ufpel.edu.br\/artenosul\/?p=8986"},"modified":"2020-12-09T18:35:41","modified_gmt":"2020-12-09T21:35:41","slug":"futuro-distopico-na-serie-o-conto-da-aia","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/wp.ufpel.edu.br\/artenosul\/2020\/12\/09\/futuro-distopico-na-serie-o-conto-da-aia\/","title":{"rendered":"Futuro dist\u00f3pico na s\u00e9rie \u201cO Conto da Aia\u201d"},"content":{"rendered":"<p style=\"text-align: right\"><strong><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif\">Por Nathianni Gomes da Cruz<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\"><em><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif\">Produ\u00e7\u00e3o faz analogias com o contexto pol\u00edtico e social no s\u00e9culo atual<\/span><\/em><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\"><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif\">A s\u00e9rie \u201cThe Handmaid\u2019s Tale\u201d, ou \u201cO conto da Aia\u201d, na tradu\u00e7\u00e3o para o <\/span><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif\">portugu\u00eas, \u00e9 uma s\u00e9rie norte-americana baseada no livro de mesmo nome, <\/span><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif\">escrito pela canadense Margaret Atwood, em 1985. <\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\"><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif\">Com tr\u00eas temporadas e dispon\u00edveis no Brasil pelo servi\u00e7o de streaming <\/span><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif\">Globoplay e na FOX Premium, a s\u00e9rie Original do Hulu aborda assuntos <\/span><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif\">bastante recorrentes e intensos do atual momento pol\u00edtico mundial. <\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\"><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif\">Foi vencedora de oito pr\u00eamios Emmy, incluindo o de Melhor S\u00e9rie <\/span><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif\">Dram\u00e1tica de 2017, e tem dire\u00e7\u00e3o de Bruce Miller.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\"><strong><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif\">Era uma vez a \u201cAm\u00e9rica\u201d\u00a0<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\"><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif\">Ao longo de 36 epis\u00f3dios em tr\u00eas temporadas, somos imersos em um <\/span><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif\">Estado teocr\u00e1tico e ditatorial. O fundamentalismo religioso toma grandes <\/span><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif\">propor\u00e7\u00f5es ap\u00f3s um ataque terrorista matar o presidente dos EUA e um grupo <\/span><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif\">intitulado Filhos de Jac\u00f3 tomar o poder. Os golpistas suspendem a <\/span><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif\">Constitui\u00e7\u00e3o, e, assim, constroem as regras de Estado baseadas em <\/span><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif\">interpreta\u00e7\u00f5es da B\u00edblia.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\"><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif\">Os Estados Unidos se tornam a Rep\u00fablica de Gilead. Esse Estado tem <\/span><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif\">como base a superioridade do homem, as vontades de \u201cDeus\u201d, e a submiss\u00e3o <\/span><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif\">das mulheres, que passam a fazer parte de castas com diferentes fun\u00e7\u00f5es <\/span><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif\">servis.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\"><strong><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif\">Propriedade estatal<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n<div class=\"embed-container\"><iframe loading=\"lazy\" title=\"The Handmaid\u2019s Tale | Trailer oficial (Legendado)\" width=\"855\" height=\"481\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/qlaQS_x9PlI?feature=oembed\" frameborder=\"0\" allow=\"accelerometer; autoplay; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture; web-share\" referrerpolicy=\"strict-origin-when-cross-origin\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe><\/div>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\"><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif\">Em Gilead, a submiss\u00e3o da mulher \u00e9 constitucional. Essa mudan\u00e7a foi <\/span><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif\">gradual, e como podemos acompanhar na trama, aconteceu primeiro com a <\/span><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif\">revoga\u00e7\u00e3o do direito da mulher de trabalhar, e, depois, com o bloqueio dos\u00a0<\/span><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif\">seus bens. Para ent\u00e3o, em pouco tempo, as mulheres terem todos os seus <\/span><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif\">direitos revogados.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\"><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif\">Somos apresentados a Offred, interpretada por Elisabeth Moss, uma <\/span><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif\">aia enviada \u00e0 fam\u00edlia de um comandante dos Filhos de Jac\u00f3. As aias fazem <\/span><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif\">parte dessa casta que faz o papel de barriga de aluguel do Estado, s\u00e3o \u201co \u00fatero <\/span><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif\">com pernas\u201d, como elas se descrevem durante a trama.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\"><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif\">As aias s\u00e3o a parcela de mulheres ainda f\u00e9rteis, que s\u00e3o recrutadas e <\/span><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif\">raptadas de suas fam\u00edlias por conta da queda de natalidade e infertilidade em <\/span><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif\">massa. Passam a serem recept\u00e1culos dos filhos dos comandantes e suas <\/span><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif\">esposas est\u00e9reis.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\"><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif\">Offred n\u00e3o \u00e9 o nome real dessa mulher que acompanhamos, com a <\/span><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif\">atriz Elisabeth Moss no papel. Nessa fic\u00e7\u00e3o aterrorizante, temos vislumbres de <\/span><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif\">como era a vida da aia antes do Estado ser derrubado. Descobrimos que seu <\/span><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif\">nome \u00e9 June, que, nessa realidade, passou a ser \u201cDo Fred\u201d, ou seja, \u201cOf Fred\u201d, <\/span><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif\">seu comandante, interpretado por Joseph Fiennes.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\"><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif\">O ponto central que permite toda a barb\u00e1rie que se instala \u00e9 o preceito <\/span><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif\">b\u00edblico de G\u00eanesis 30:1:3: \u201cVendo Raquel que n\u00e3o dava filhos a Jac\u00f3, teve <\/span><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif\">inveja de sua irm\u00e3, e disse a Jac\u00f3: D\u00e1-me filhos, se n\u00e3o morro. E ela disse: Eis <\/span><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif\">aqui minha serva Bila, coabita com ela, para que d\u00ea \u00e0 luz sobre meus joelhos, <\/span><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif\">e eu assim receba filhos por ela\u201d.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\"><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif\">Essa \u201ccoabita\u00e7\u00e3o\u201d n\u00e3o \u00e9 amig\u00e1vel, agrad\u00e1vel ou qualquer concep\u00e7\u00e3o <\/span><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif\">tecnol\u00f3gica aceit\u00e1vel como se pode pensar. <\/span><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif\">\u201cBom, mas existe, insemina\u00e7\u00e3o artificial e implanta\u00e7\u00e3o volunt\u00e1ria no <\/span><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif\">\u00fatero\u201d, algu\u00e9m pode pensar \u00e0 primeira vista. Mas, aqui, toda a ci\u00eancia \u00e9 <\/span><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif\">negada. As cerim\u00f4nias, nas quais as aias s\u00e3o obrigadas a participar, s\u00e3o <\/span><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif\">verdadeiras viola\u00e7\u00f5es aos seus corpos. Sem falar da viola\u00e7\u00e3o psicol\u00f3gica <\/span><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif\">praticada contra elas em todos os momentos. <\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\"><strong><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif\">As cores tamb\u00e9m oprimem<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\"><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif\">As mulheres s\u00e3o o elo em comum em \u201cO Conto da Aia\u201d &#8211; ao mesmo <\/span><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif\">passo em que n\u00e3o possuem qualquer elo, j\u00e1 que o Estado totalit\u00e1rio faz <\/span><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif\">quest\u00e3o de destruir qualquer intera\u00e7\u00e3o de verdade entre elas.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\"><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif\">Aqui, nenhuma mulher possui qualquer papel decis\u00f3rio, mesmo que <\/span><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif\">algumas, como as esposas, achem que possuem algum controle. Na verdade, <\/span><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif\">s\u00e3o iludidas com uma realidade deturpada: s\u00e3o oprimidas e opressoras de <\/span><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif\">outras mulheres em posi\u00e7\u00f5es inferiores. E as cores fazem parte dessa <\/span><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif\">realidade.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\"><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif\">Para explicar melhor: todas as castas possuem cores espec\u00edficas.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\"><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif\">O azul escuro das \u201cesposas\u201d \u00e9 atribu\u00eddo a Virgem Maria. \u00c9 opressivo e <\/span><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif\">frio. Elas s\u00e3o as mulheres que odeiam a presen\u00e7a das aias e possuem um <\/span><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif\">ci\u00fame doentio destas. Fazem de suas vidas um verdadeiro inferno \u2013 al\u00e9m de <\/span><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif\">todo o horror j\u00e1 bastante sofrido.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\"><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif\">O uniforme vermelho das \u201caias\u201d, junto com seus chap\u00e9us brancos que <\/span><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif\">cobrem as laterais dos olhos, torna-as f\u00e1ceis de serem percebidas em qualquer <\/span><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif\">lugar. Elas, no entanto, n\u00e3o transitam por muitos. Est\u00e3o no mercado, na casa a <\/span><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif\">qual foram designadas, em algum parto ocasional e raro de outra aia, na <\/span><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif\">vizinhan\u00e7a que habitam.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\"><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif\">O uniforme verde das \u201cMarthas\u201d as designa como as mulheres servis <\/span><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif\">da casa, aquelas que limpam, cozinham, e que s\u00e3o como governantas da casa. <\/span><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif\">O marrom, das \u201ctias\u201d, identifica como aquelas com a autoridade e <\/span><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif\">responsabilidade de \u201ctreinar\u201d as aias. Colocam ordem e medo atrav\u00e9s de <\/span><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif\">torturas e humilha\u00e7\u00f5es. E, assim, as aias tornam-se inimigas uma das outras.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\"><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif\">Assim, temos uma realidade na qual a esposa \u00e9 a honra do lar e da <\/span><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif\">fam\u00edlia, aos olhos da sociedade sobre o seu marido. A aia \u00e9 aquela que dar\u00e1 <\/span><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif\">um filho a ele e a sua esposa. As Marthas servem \u00e0 sua casa. E as tias <\/span><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif\">colocam ordem para que nenhuma aia se rebele contra o seu comandante.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\"><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif\">Todo o sistema gira em torno do homem, com mulheres sendo sat\u00e9lites<\/span><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif\">&#8211; e for\u00e7adas a n\u00e3o perceberem que s\u00e3o as verdadeiras protagonistas de suas <\/span><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif\">hist\u00f3rias.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\"><strong><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif\">Qualidade da s\u00e9rie<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\"><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif\">Os primeiros epis\u00f3dios da segunda temporada levantaram in\u00fameros <\/span><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif\">argumentos e quest\u00f5es sobre a trama. A produ\u00e7\u00e3o foi comparada \u00e0 \u201ctorture <\/span><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif\">porn\u201d, um g\u00eanero cinematogr\u00e1fico que visa dar prazer ao espectador com <\/span><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif\">viol\u00eancia s\u00e1dica.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\"><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif\">Lisa Miller, do ve\u00edculo The Cut, levantou a quest\u00e3o: \u201c\u00e9 feminista ficar <\/span><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif\">vendo mulheres sendo escravizadas, degradadas, espancadas, amputadas e <\/span><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif\">estupradas?\u201d, ao anunciar que n\u00e3o assistiria mais a s\u00e9rie.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\"><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif\">Apesar dos epis\u00f3dios sim, serem chocantes, tem algo que ainda a <\/span><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif\">torna boa. Margaret Atwood escreveu o livro, que \u00e9 o guia para a trama <\/span><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif\">televisiva, baseado em acontecimentos sociais e pol\u00edticos do come\u00e7o dos anos <\/span><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif\">80. Projetou um futuro fict\u00edcio sem as mais comuns suposi\u00e7\u00f5es sobre um futuro <\/span><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif\">dist\u00f3pico, ou seja, sem naves espaciais e tecnologia de ponta.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\"><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif\">De acordo com a autora, &#8220;fic\u00e7\u00e3o cient\u00edfica tem monstros e naves <\/span><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif\">espaciais, a fic\u00e7\u00e3o especulativa poderia acontecer de verdade\u201d. Qu\u00e3o real e <\/span><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif\">assustador pode se tornar \u201cO Conto da Aia\u201d se comparado \u00e0 realidade da <\/span><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif\">pol\u00edtica mundial nas \u00faltimas d\u00e9cadas? E, especialmente, nos \u00faltimos cinco <\/span><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif\">anos, em governos que subjugam mulheres, com a ascens\u00e3o do <\/span><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif\">fundamentalismo crist\u00e3o e cr\u00edticas \u00e0 liberdade feminina e de seus corpos? <\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\"><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif\">&#8220;\u00c9 entretenimento ou uma profecia pol\u00edtica aterrorizante? Pode ser <\/span><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif\">ambos? Eu n\u00e3o antecipei nada disso quando estava escrevendo o livro&#8221;, <\/span><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif\">explicou a autora em entrevista para o jornal americano The Guardian.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\"><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif\">Por isso, mais que uma obra feminista, a s\u00e9rie \u201cO Conto da Aia\u201d, <\/span><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif\">complementando a obra liter\u00e1ria de Atwood e adicionando elementos atuais de <\/span><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif\">tecnologia e modernidades (como as redes sociais, por exemplo, em <\/span><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif\">flashbacks que ocorrem \u00e0 personagem principal), traz uma trama ainda mais <\/span><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif\">chocante, fazendo com que o p\u00fablico compare a realidade com a fic\u00e7\u00e3o, ao <\/span><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif\">perceber que essa hist\u00f3ria poderia facilmente se tornar a nossa realidade.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\"><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif\">Ou seja, h\u00e1 uma liga\u00e7\u00e3o entre processar a realidade atrav\u00e9s da fic\u00e7\u00e3o <\/span><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif\">\u2013 e \u00e9 o simbolismo da s\u00e9rie que a torna t\u00e3o atrativa, apesar dos pesares.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\"><strong><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif\">Pr\u00f3ximos passos<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\"><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif\">A quarta temporada da s\u00e9rie j\u00e1 est\u00e1 marcada para estrear em 2021, <\/span><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif\">ap\u00f3s ser adiada em decorr\u00eancia da Covid-19. Lan\u00e7ado em junho deste ano, o <\/span><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif\">teaser promocional demonstra a vontade e a esperan\u00e7a de June, personagem <\/span><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif\">principal, de derrubar a estrutura de governo e mudar toda a realidade de <\/span><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif\">Gilead.
